Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse II at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. You will lead research studies, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff, while coordinating protocol start-up, feasibility, and patient visits.

The role requires an RN with 2+ years in research and 5 years in healthcare/management, along with IRB and GCP knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting BayCare's broad clinical trials program.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN required.
• Clinical research experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years research and 5 years healthcare/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement research studies under PI guidance following GCP and IRB requirements.
• Oversee protocol development, feasibility, start-up, and training of staff.
• Schedule patient visits and ensure adherence to protocol and events.
• Manage regulatory documents and IRB reporting.
• Conduct informed consent and HIPAA processes; collect biometric data and specimens.
• Develop source documents, CRFs, and EDCS; mentor new team members.
