Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to manage study protocols and provide nursing care for participants in clinical trials. The CRN will monitor patients, assess health status, and ensure accurate documentation and adherence to trial procedures.

The role requires 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and an active California RN license with BLS certification.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN), manages all aspects of research protocols and clinical trials as directed. Monitor study patients and provide appropriate nursing services; review and evaluate health status, lab findings and reactions; oversee accurate records, maintain and implement research protocols, develop policies, and procedures and submission of trials.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

1+ year Clinical Nursing experience required

Preferred

• Clinical Research experience

Education/Licensure/Certifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), specifically Health Care Provider, certification.
• Additional competencies may be required by the work location.
