Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant, Clinical Research for the MOB Lindner Research HV in Cincinnati, OH. The CRMA will support daily clinical trial activities, assist investigators and staff, and ensure efficient participant flow while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, data handling, and collaboration with study coordinators. Requires MA program completion, certification, and 2–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and EMR systems; proficient in scheduling
• Educational requirements include High School Diploma or GED and completion of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
• Medical Assistant Certification and BLS are required or preferred
• 2–5 years of experience as Medical Assistant or related healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Investigators, physicians and nurses with procedures and exams within competency.
• Plan, provide and document medical assistant care per study protocols and SOPs.
• Ensure data collected is recorded on forms and research records.
• Prepare for and maintain patient flow in the research clinic.
• Room participants and measure vital signs; operate EKG as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy, sample collection, lab processing and shipping per protocol.
• Maintain order in examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment; perform maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Check logs like refrigerator temperature and eyewash logs for compliance.
• Coordinate with study coordinators to align tasks and schedules.
• Answer calls, schedule visits, and check patients in/out.
• Complete special projects as required
