Job summary

ObjectiveHealth is seeking a Research Lab Technician to join our clinical research team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will hold phlebotomy certification and enjoy direct patient interaction in a lab setting.

Responsibilities include performing patient care activities, collecting specimens, data entry, and ensuring regulatory compliance across assigned studies, with on-the-job training for procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification in phlebotomy or equivalent required.
• Experience handling direct patient care activities in a lab setting preferred.
• Strong attention to data quality, regulatory compliance, and protocol adherence.
• Effective communication with research team, sponsors, monitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with direct patient care activities: physical assessments, blood draws, ECG and medication administration (on-the-job training may be offered).
• Maintain accurate data entry and ensure clean data for site visits and studies.
• Set up and maintain laboratory areas and ensure strict protocol adherence.
• Communicate findings and issues promptly to leadership and coworkers.
