Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Oncology Infusion Research Nurse in Orlando, FL. This permanent onsite role focuses on delivering chemotherapy and other oncology agents to patients enrolled in clinical trials, while adhering to FDA, ICH/GCP guidelines and protocol requirements.

Candidates must hold an active Florida RN license, have Oncology/complex infusion experience, proficiency with PIVs, and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Oncology/chemotherapy infusion or complex infusion experience preferred.
• Proficiency with peripheral IVs (PIVs).
• Oncology experience; OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chemotherapy, biotherapy, and investigational agents.
• Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor toxicity per protocol.
• Document source data and CRFs accurately.
• Collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and pharmacy teams.

Onsite 4 days 10-hour shifts ; schedule made 6 weeks in advance

Clinical Research Infusion Nurse

As an Oncology Infusion Research Nurse, you will manage the specialized care of cancer patients enrolled in clinical trials. This role blends your handson infusion expertise with the unique responsibilities of clinical research, including:

• Ensuring strict adherence to clinical trial protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines to safeguard patient welfare.
• Delivering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and investigational agents while applying advanced knowledge of oncology medications and sideeffect management.
• Conducting detailed clinical assessments, monitoring for adverse reactions, and evaluating patient toxicity levels per protocol requirements.
• Documenting source data and completing Case Report Forms (CRFs) with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborating closely with Principal Investigators, research coordinators, and pharmacy teams to ensure smooth and compliant study execution.
• Providing guidance and education to patients and families regarding study expectations, treatment processes, and potential side effects.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $99840.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
