Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a Data Coordinator to support clinical research trials of all complexities. The role involves extracting data from EMR and other documents and entering it into EDC, while coordinating multiple trials and ensuring protocol procedures are followed.

Under PI guidance, you will assist with study startup, screening and enrollment, and reporting to IRB and sponsors. Strong data management, organization, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• SOCRA/ACRP certification may be preferred depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Assist investigators by extracting data from EMR and other sources for entry into EDC.
• Identify, screen, and enroll study subjects under PI guidance.
• Ensure protocol requirements are met and coordinate study procedures and documentation.
• Prepare and submit reportable event reports to sponsors, IRB, and regulators.
• Collaborate with sponsor research associates during monitoring activities with data clarifications and reports.
