Generally, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. May be scheduled to work or be on-call up to one weekend per month, based on study protocol recruitment requirements. Hours may vary based on operational needs. Not expected to work on holidays or nights.
Opportunities for a hybrid telework schedule may be considered after the initial training period with a minimum of 3 days/week onsite, provided the arrangement is supported by operational needs and individual performance. The Division of Neonatology has an immediate opening for a Clinical Research Nurse, in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah Spencer F. Eccles School of Medicine.
Coordinate and manage day-to-day clinical research activities in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ( NICU ) in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice ( GCP ) guidelines, and applicable regulations. Screen, recruit, enroll, and obtain informed consent from study participants and families. Conduct study procedures, collect and maintain research data, monitor participant safety, and report adverse events. Maintain study documentation and compliance records, coordinate research visits and follow-up activities, and collaborate with investigators, clinical staff, and external partners to support successful study execution. Serve as a liaison between research teams, clinical departments, sponsors, and regulatory entities under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). Requires current Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensure.
