Responsibilities

• Elevate standards of care using healthcare experience.
• Sit with families through conversations about prognosis and goals of care.
• Prep and verify chemotherapy specimens for the lab, labeling at bedside in front of the patient.
• Uphold infection control standards and safety practices.
• De-escalate agitated patients with presence and calm communication.
• Coordinate discharge planning with case management, social work, and family in Bakersfield.
