Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee and coordinate clinical trials in New Jersey. You will work under the PI to ensure compliant study conduct, consent processes, budgeting, and regulatory adherence across multiple trials.

The role requires a BA/BS in science or healthcare, 2+ years in a senior clinical data/regulatory capacity or 4+ years in clinical research, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS diploma/degree in science or healthcare field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Senior Clinical Data Coordinator or Senior Regulatory Specialist role, or at least 4 years related experience in clinical research.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently, or in a team, and handle multiple deadline driven tasks in a dynamic environment is essential.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between investigators, sub-investigators, clinical research nurses and regulatory specialists on protocol issues.
• Reviews studies for feasibility and evaluates potential competition with other protocols prior to submission.
• Reviews proposed study budgets to outline standard of care and research costs; drafts budget with the budget coordinator.
• Oversees informed consent processes and documentation.
• Coordinates research activities such as scheduling laboratory tests, radiology testing and other exams.
• Maintains study records in the clinical trial management system and related systems.
• Ensures compliance with protocols and regulatory policies.
