Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) seeks a Research Nurse Coordinator to oversee oncology clinical studies under the PI and Research Director. The role involves coordinating site activities, ensuring compliant study conduct, and maintaining strong patient advocacy throughout trials.

Candidates must hold a valid RN license in-state, with at least 1 year of oncology or clinical research experience (or 5 years combined).

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year oncology or clinical research experience; or 5 years combined oncology and clinical research experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills; patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of the research study under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator and Research Director.
• Manage overall site performance and ongoing management of the research studies.
• Provide coverage in clinics when research staff are unavailable; precept new staff as needed; assist with projects assigned by Senior Clinical Research Coordinator III.
