Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II for Pediatric Neurosurgery to coordinate, initiate and monitor studies under moderate supervision.

You will manage regulatory documents, consent processes, data collection and QA/QC, collaborate with multiple departments, and support financial and operational aspects of trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year research experience required.
• Proficient organizational skills with ability to manage multiple studies.
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficient knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines.
• Proficient analytical skills with the ability to recognize quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage initiation and regulatory compliance of clinical research studies, including IRB and sponsor reviews.
• Manage study documents and regulatory binders with adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate and oversee clinical research visits, site qualifications, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits.
• Collect specimens, record data, and ensure data accuracy and protocol compliance.
• Engage participants, conduct informed consent, and support reimbursement and inquiries.
• Oversee supplies, equipment inventory, and lab kits.
• Track deadlines for grants and deliverables and assist with data processing and analysis.
