Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking a Clinical Research Professional I to coordinate select aspects of clinical research studies. You will serve as a resource for research study participants, families, other healthcare providers, and members of the clinical research team regarding specified aspects of the study.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree recommended for related fields.
• Experience in coordinating patient enrollment and consent processes is preferred.
• Ability to collect, record, and manage study data in compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and screens patients for enrollment eligibility and participation in research projects.
• Obtains consent for participation in accordance with government regulations and internal policies.
• Prepares flowcharts, study-specific source documents, and collects/records subject data on case report forms.
• Creates databases and performs data entry into the database.
• Serves as a research resource to subjects, families, and other healthcare providers regarding study needs while preserving privacy.
• Promotes knowledge of current professional practice and research standards, laws and regulations affecting human Subjects research.
• Facilitates collaboration with other departments to support research across the continuum.
• Coordinates/collects data for sponsor review during site visits and assists study monitors in chart/C.R.F. review.
• Maintains files and study documentation per institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participates in the smoking cessation intervention delivery and training to become a quit coach.
• Monitors data quality and dashboards; troubleshoots data-related issues with participants and collaborators.
