Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support patient enrollment and coordination of cancer trials. The role involves direct patient interaction, education, and guiding participants through trial experiences.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and data managers to ensure protocol adherence, safety, and timely trial progression. A 90-day training period with hybrid work follows onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in scientific, health-related or business administration fields with 1 year of relevant clinical, health-related, scientific, business or research experience.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• CCRP/CCRC or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with medical staff and documenting per standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Act as liaison between investigators, regulatory staff, and sponsor.
• Screen, enroll, and follow study subjects with protocol compliance and active monitoring.
• Manage data and source documentation and report adverse events.
• Perform diverse administrative duties requiring analysis and judgment, in coordination with supervisor.
• Assist to implement and coordinate research activities under supervision.
