Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a data coordinator to assist investigators in clinical research trials.

You will extract data from EMR and other source documents and enter it into an EDC system, supporting multiple trials concurrently. Responsibilities include coordinating study start-up activities, screening and enrolling participants, ensuring protocol compliance, and preparing reports for sponsors and IRBs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Basic Life Support certifications required; cannot meet the requirements without BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • No specific work experience is required for this position.

Position Summary

Assists investigators as a data coordinator of clinical research trials of all complexities, extracting data from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other source documents and entering it into an Electronic Data Capture (EDC). May be responsible for numerous research trials simultaneously. Helps ensure the accurate collection of study- required procedures while patients are receiving protocol treatment and are in active protocol follow-up.

Salary Range

$49,200.00 - $73,800.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
