Job summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator I at MultiCare Health System will implement clinical studies, including basic science, phase II, III, and IV trials, and coordinate with nursing staff, management, physicians, patients, and outside organizations. This role requires interaction with research groups and service groups such as laboratories and radiology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a research assistant or coordinator in healthcare.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Washington State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical research pertaining to human subjects.
• Follows guidelines for identifying subject populations, complete forms, questionnaires, and procedures for data collection.
• Prepares for and participates in study monitor visits.
• May perform venous blood draws within the scope of an MA-Phlebotomy license.
• Coordinates and oversees processing, inventory and shipping of study specimens.
• Documents and maintains accurate records of study visits and procedures, including financial accrual and eCRF completion.
• Completes and submits sponsor queries within 3–5 business days from receipt.
