Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to ensure study execution in line with GCP, ICH, HIPAA and FDA SOPs. The CRC will screen patients, obtain consent, collect vitals, enter data in EDC, and maintain study logs.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent, one year of clinical research or clinical experience, and strong communication skills. The role is full-time with benefits and requires teamwork across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Medical Assistant diploma, LPN/LVN, EMT credential OR Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of clinical research or clinical experience.
• Proficiency with basic clinical procedures (blood pressure, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy) is highly preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for study enrollment and obtain informed consent.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and other basic procedures.
• Document in source charts and enter data in EDC; monitor and resolve queries.
• Manage study logs, supply ordering, and site initiation tasks as needed.
• Schedule visits, provide appointment reminders, and assist with recruitment.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance in all documentation.
