Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to coordinate all aspects of clinical trials in accordance with ICH, GCP, protocol and company guidelines.

The role supports data collection, safety assessment, regulatory tasks, and collaboration with PIs and sponsors. The shift is 6a-6p with travel as needed; compensation is $22-24/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have experience and demonstrate mastery of Clinical Research Coordinator I.
• CCRC certification preferred.
• 2-3 years experience in the medical field.
• Knowledge of Federal regulations protecting human subjects in research.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels, including sponsor/vendor levels.
• Crisis management and problem solving; respond calmly in emergencies.
• Works independently and in a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient involvement for studies from start to finish.
• Organize research information for trials.
• Observe subjects and assist with data analysis and reporting.
• Schedule data collection activities.
• Review adverse events and protocol deviations; report as needed.
• Monitor and report data to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform administrative and regulatory duties related to the study.
• Participate in protocol development activities.
• Ensure sponsors provide accurate information and supplies.
• Educate participants and caregivers on protocol details.
• Perform safety and efficacy assessments per protocol.
• Assist CTM with oversight of vendors, accounting, regulatory, and recruitment.
• Assist CTM in planning and staff development.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
