Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami, FL is seeking a research coordinator to support the Research leadership and Principal Investigator on designated projects. You will ensure protocol adherence, participant safety, and regulatory compliance as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required; two years of research experience may substitute the degree.
  • Foreign Medical Degree with no experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and team-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Research leadership and Principal Investigator on designated project.
  • Ensure protocol requirements are met and compliant with regulatory standards and FDA requirements.
  • Complete detailed paperwork in accordance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, sponsors, and other departments with service-excellence mindset.

Description

Responsible for supporting the Research leadership and Principal Investigator of a designated research project. Performs those functions required by the research protocols with attention to participant safety. Ensures that all requirements of the protocol are met, while meeting compliance with regulatory standards and FDA requirements for each protocol. Must be able to complete detailed paperwork in strict accordance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with physicians, patients, sponsors, and other departments in a service excellence manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $26.13 - $33.97 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • Associates degree is required.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Collab Inst Training Init.
Additional Qualifications
  • Associate‘s of arts degree is required.
  • In lieu of Associates degree, 2 years of research experience is required OR a Foreign Medical Degree with no experience required.
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments systematically.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and team-building skills are required.
  • Must be able to work in a high-demand environment with the ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines.
