Job summary

Austin-based Clinical Research Coordinator role at Aurora Diagnostics LLC involves collecting and preparing samples for pre-clinical research, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, BA/BS science-related degree preferred.
• Experience working in laboratory or industry related fields.
• Experience working in pathology laboratories preferred.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in the identification, retrieval, processing and data collection associated with archived biological samples for research that meet project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and proper documentation of project activities associated with all assigned studies.
• Develop competency in properly de-identifing study samples and become knowledgeable in the appropriate transfer of study data in compliance with all federal regulations and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.
• Gain and apply expertise in the interpretation and transcription of complex medical terminology associated with research biospecimen annotations.
• Adhere to all relevant protocols and guidelines for sample handling, storage, and shipping of biological samples
• Complete annual training programs within the required timeframe
• Maintain strictest confidentiality
• Comply with all state, federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manuals
• Adhere to HIPAA, Safety and OSHA Regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
