Company Description Primary Clinical Research (PCR) is an Omaha-based clinical research site dedicated to restoring trust in clinical research through integrity, compassion, and community-rooted care. The team conducts patient-centered clinical trials in partnership with sponsors and CROs, delivering efficient study startup, strong participant engagement, and reliable data. PCR has completed over 35 clinical trials, maintains an established patient database of approximately 10,000 participants, and achieves high enrollment and retention rates. Serving the Omaha community since 2023, PCR focuses on participant-centered experiences that elevate health outcomes and honor the human story behind every trial. The organization is committed to advancing research, improving patient outcomes, and shaping the future of healthcare.

Role Description The Clinical Research Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Omaha Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned clinical trials, including participant screening, recruitment, and scheduling, as well as managing informed consent and ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and documenting study data, overseeing study visits and procedures, maintaining accurate source documents, and updating electronic databases. The coordinator collaborates with investigators, site staff, sponsors, and CROs to support efficient study startup, timely enrollment, and high-quality data. Additional responsibilities include monitoring participant safety, reporting adverse events, supporting audits and monitoring visits, and contributing to continuous improvement of site workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of clinical research operations, including hands‑on experience conducting and supporting clinical trials.
  • Ability to manage Informed Consent procedures, ensuring ethical and compliant participant enrollment.
  • Experience working with study Protocol requirements and Research documentation, including accurate data collection and source documentation.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple studies or tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with participants, investigators, sponsors, and CROs.
  • Proficiency with electronic data capture systems, basic office software, and secure data handling practices.
  • Preferred: Degree in a health-related or scientific field (e.g., nursing, life sciences, public health) and prior experience in a clinical or research setting.
