Main Line Health's Clinical Research Center at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II. You will oversee multiple phase II–IV clinical trials, working under investigators and senior staff to ensure quality data collection, patient safety, and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen potential eligible patients for studies and participate in informed consent.
• Abstract data from EMR and report to the study database.
• Maintain essential documents and investigate regulatory compliance.
• Administer questionnaires and package/ship research specimens.
• Coordinate and schedule study visits and monitor study progress.
• Support start-up activities and host external monitor visits.

The Clinical Research Center at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research supports investigators across Main Line Health in multiple clinical areas, including cardiology, gynecology, oncology, pulmonology, surgery and others. There will be opportunities to network and build relationships across departments and gain knowledge in multiple disease areas. The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage a variety phase II-IV clinical research projects. This individual will work under limited supervision and instruction from investigators and senior clinical research staff.

Daily tasks may include the following:

• Screen potentially eligible patients for studies; participate in the informed consent process
• Data abstraction from the electronic medical record and reporting into the study database
• Maintain essential documents
• Administer questionnaires
• Package and ship research specimens
• Coordinate and schedule study visits
• Maintain compliance with the research protocol and all relevant regulations and polices
• Schedule and host external monitor visits
• Facilitate study team meetings
• Participate in study start up activities

Position:

Clinical Research Coordinator II

Shift:

• 8am-4:30p and variable, Monday-Friday
• Flexibility required to manage study coverage and responsibilities

Location:

• Lankenau Medical Center
• Requires the ability to travel periodically between health system hospitals.
• Some limited hybrid/remote work may be possible when patient schedules allow

Experience:

• 4 years clinical research experience, or Masters degree with 2 years clinical research experience
• Experience working in health care or a health care setting is required

Education:

BA/BS required.
