Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to assist in providing clinical care under supervision and to perform clerical duties.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, assisting with physician visits, performing selected tests, maintaining records, and supporting confidentiality. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and certification as CMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, treatment rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Take patient vitals and record in medical chart.
• Assist with physician visits and examinations as directed.
• Perform EKG, PFT, Audiometry and related tests as indicated.
• Maintain patient records and support confidentiality.
• Use computer software to maintain office systems.
