Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to support increasingly complex studies in a hybrid work environment. The role requires four days on-site and commuting to the LA location, collaborating with coordinators, nurses, and supervising staff.

You will collect and evaluate clinical data, assist in IRB submissions, manage budget and billing tasks, and ensure compliance with GCP, HIPAA, FDA, and local guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical research experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Science or related field; CR certification such as SOCRA or ACRP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement increasingly complex clinical research studies.
• Collect, evaluate and abstract clinical data; enter into EDCS provided by sponsors.
• Complete Case Report Forms (CRFs).
• Prescreen potential research participants; schedule visits and procedures.
• Assist with IRB regulatory submissions and sponsor communications.
• Assist with study budgets and patient billing.
• Ensure protocol compliance and adherence to GCP, HIPAA, FDA guidelines.
• Serve as primary contact for external sponsors and attend study meetings.
• Train and educate junior staff; coordinate activities to maintain study objectives.
• Participate in audits and SOP development.
