Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking staff for the non-cancer Division of Classical Hematology within the Department of Internal Medicine to support clinical research studies. You will assist with implementation and coordination of studies, participate in participant recruitment, and help collect and report research data.

Minimum education requires a Bachelor's in biological sciences; no prior experience is required, with preferred familiarity in phlebotomy or basic lab

To provide assistance in the non-cancer Division of Classical Hematology within the Department of Internal Medicine in support of clinical research studies with support from the College of Medicine (COM) Center of Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in biological sciences.

Required Experience

No relevant experience is required.

Preferred Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience is required.Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

This is a patient facing position and is required to be in the office.
