Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a Research Assistant, Clinical to support multiple federally funded studies and industry trials in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include recruitment, data collection, data management, and contributing to reports and publications. Roles involve nights/weekends on a rotating schedule.

Bachelor's degree in a related field and prior clinical research experience are preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to clinical research.
• Prior experience in clinical research preferred.
• Ability to work with IRB approved protocols and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen subjects; obtain consent and enrollment.
• Perform data collection via interviews and chart review.
• Establish and maintain database files and reports.
• Check data quality and perform data cleaning.
• Perform data analysis and prepare descriptive statistics.
• Assist in grants, papers, abstracts and presentations.
