Job summary

Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the research team by helping implement steps and processes of a clinical research protocol. You will collect study data, perform data entry, and assist with routine contact of study participants, all on the School of Medicine Campus.

Schedule typically runs Monday through Friday; the position is non-exempt and paid hourly, with compensation aligned to experience, as described in the starting salary range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Six months of work experience.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect study data as required by the protocol, e.g., interviews, surveys, clinical procedures.
• Perform data entry and organize data in approved systems.
• Gain and use a basic understanding of the clinical study background and rationale for communication with potential and current participants.
• Assist with routine contact of study participants.
• Other duties as assigned.
