Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with MaineHealth, offers travel nurse opportunities within MaineHealth’s network of facilities. Assignments span 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility need, with weekly direct deposit, guaranteed hours, and a housing option or tax-free subsidy.

Role involves delivering patient care, monitoring conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

What You’ll Do:
