Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree with major in relevant field.
  • Current active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • One year professional food service experience in an institutional health care setting which includes identification of dietary needs, planning and implementation of dietary programs.
  • Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Ineligible for employment if found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting.

The Clinical Dietitian assumes professional responsibility and accountability for the Dietary Services Department that provides nourishing, palatable well-balanced diets to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident according to their comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree with major in relevant field.
  • Certificate/Licenses: Current active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • Work Experience: One year professional food service experience in an institutional health care setting which includes identification of dietary needs, planning and implementation of dietary programs.
  • Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
