Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) seeks a Clinical Manager for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital. Lead Imaging Supervisors, professional and support staff, and drive policy adherence and best practices.

You will guide development of service standards, monitor performance data, and coordinate incident reviews. This full-time day-shift role emphasizes strong leadership and strategic operation of imaging services.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in an imaging modality.
• Associate’s Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or healthcare related field.
• NYS license as Radiologic Technologist or ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS/CCI/RVT registrations (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Promotes philosophy, goals, and objectives of the department.
• Develops, implements, and supervises Imaging policies and programs.
• Collects and analyzes data to measure departmental performance and resource use.
• Coordinates incident reviews, and responds to complaints from physicians, patients, and staff.

Position Overview

The Clinical Manager promotes institutional philosophy, goals, and objectives and participates in the development, implementation, and supervision of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology policies, procedures and programs. Provides direction to Imaging Supervisors, professional staff, and support staff with regard to policy adherence and current practice trends. Collects and evaluates data to assist in the measurement of departmental performance and trends and monitors the use of resources in accordance with departmental plans and budgets. Establishes, reviews and revises departmental service delivery standards which are sensitive to patient, physician, staff, and other customer needs and coordinates all patient incident reviews, physician, patient, and staff complaints. Serves as consultant to internal and external sources for Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology services.

$49.24 - $73.86 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in an imaging modality
• Associate’s Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or other Healthcare related field

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or other Healthcare related field
• Ten or more years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• NYS licenseas Radiologic Technologist OR registrationin one or more of the following imaging modalities:

• • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • AmericanRegistry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing international (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
