Advocate Health in Concord, NC seeks a Radiation Therapist to deliver ionizing radiation per regulatory guidelines and maintain accurate treatment records. You will monitor equipment, input ARIA data, and document patient charts while ensuring safety and clear communication with patients and families.

The role requires ARRT registry eligibility, BLS certification, and strong critical thinking with good dexterity to support efficient, safe patient care in a busy clinic environment.

Competenze

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Therapeutic Radiology or international equivalent.
• ARRT registry eligible, must pass registry in the first 90 days.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Mansioni

• Treat patients with ionizing radiation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor all equipment parameters and document malfunctions; follow emergency/safety procedures for all equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment schedules.
• Input treatment and simulation charge information into Aria.
• Document patient treatment chart.
• Understand emergency and fault procedures for linear accelerators and simulators.
• Recognize and report patient concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate instructions and procedures to patients and families.
• Maintain clinic organization and cleanliness.
