Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required.
  • Radiology Tech License in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets and implements prescription and treatment plan.
  • Delivers and charts all simulation and treatment summaries.
  • Performs simulation procedures, prepares immobilization devices.
  • Obtains accurate measurements, contours, and other information for dosimetry.
  • Assesses treatment machines and performs daily equipment warm-up and QA.
  • Assists in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists if applicable.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provides basic patient care during treatment delivery, educates patients, monitors progress.
  • Schedules and treats patients in a timely and professional manner.
