Job summary

University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine Radiation Oncology seeks an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician track. The ideal candidate holds an M.D. and is Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the ABR.

Responsibilities include teaching residents and fellows, and providing clinical care across gynecologic brachytherapy and other radiation modalities. Clinical practice spans HDR brachytherapy for cervical, uterine, and vaginal cancers, along with SBRT,

Qualifications

• MD degree required for candidacy.
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Radiation Oncology by ABR is required.
• Experience teaching and mentoring residents, graduate students, and trainees is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, and mentor residents and medical physics trainees.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care in gynecologic brachytherapy and other radiation modalities.
• Engage in resident didactic series and in-person discussions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and tumor boards.
