Job summary

Talkspace is seeking a Clinical Quality Specialist to lead peer proficiency reviews, support QA efforts, and provide clinical guidance across our provider network. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive quality initiatives and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

The ideal candidate has an independent clinical license, 5+ years of experience, 2+ years in telehealth/QA, and familiarity with AI in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice independently with diagnostic privileges.
• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• 2+ years telehealth and QA experience.
• Experience with high acuity clients preferred.
• Understanding of how AI is used in/impacts the clinical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Peer proficiency review including audits to assess findings and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with Interrater Reliability initiative.
• Develop criteria used to evaluate clinical quality.
• Provide clinical support to network providers with peer consultants as needed.
• Coordinate with CMO, SVP, Director of Clinical & Quality, and Manager of Quality to support clinical projects.
• Assist with clinical risk management.
• Provide cross-departmental clinical support.
• Coordinate with Quality Management on audits to guide practitioner action plans.
• Assist with development of clinical policy and procedures.
• Assist with provider performance monitoring and remediation.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Performs other related duties.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Quality Specialist to join our Network and Clinical Quality team. As a Clinical Quality Specialist, you'll lead peer proficiency reviews, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and provide essential clinical support for network providers. Your expertise will create a substantial impact in upholding the highest standards of care.

*This is a remote position based on Eastern Time with a Monday - Friday daytime schedule.

What You'll Do

• Peer Proficiency Review
  Conduct room/documentation audits to investigate complaints and determine the validity of findings and evaluate improvement opportunities and risk
• Assist with Interrater Reliability initiative
• Develop and evolve criteria used to evaluate clinical quality
• Clinical Support
  Support providers in network with clinical issues and connect them with peer consultants as needed
• Coordinate with CMO, SVP, Network, Director of Clinical & Quality, and/or Manager of Quality to support execution of special clinical projects
• Assist with clinical risk management
• Provide clinical support cross-departmentally
• Quality Management
  Coordinate with Quality Management about room/documentation audits to guide practitioner action plans
• Assist with the development of clinical policy and procedures
• Assist with provider performance monitoring and remediation
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

About You

• Current license to practice independently without supervision (e.g. Professional Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Counselor, Psychologist) with diagnostic privileges
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years experience in telehealth and QA
• Experience with high acuity clients preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of how AI is used in/impacts the clinical field preferred

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $80,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate's relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
