Job summary

Rutgers University-New Brunswick is seeking a Clinical Psychology Trainee to provide therapeutic services under supervision, conduct initial assessments, and prepare treatment plans and reports. The role includes administering tests, performing clinical interviews, and writing integrated reports, all under close licensed supervision.

The position supports individual and family therapy, participates in supervision and didactic training, and requires on-site work up to 19.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical psychology and have had at least one prior clinical practicum, as well as coursework in psychotherapy and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations, develop case formulations and treatment plans, and provide individual and family therapy.
  • Administer standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests, as well as behavioral rating scales.
  • Conduct clinical interviews and prepare written reports that integrate findings from all sources.
  • Participate in weekly supervision and twice-monthly didactic training.
  • Complete documentation including initial interview summaries, progress notes, and assessment reports.

Posting Summary:

FLSA: Nonexempt

Salary Details: $20 per hour

Qualifications
