Job summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a full-time (9-month), tenure-track Assistant/Full Professor of Clinical Psychology beginning Fall 2027. Rank and tenure status determined by qualifications; program includes BA and MA options, with potential PhD development.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and master’s level courses, mentoring student research, and supervising master’s theses.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Texas at time of appointment.
• Tenure-track faculty with potential for sustained research productivity and external funding.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical psychology courses at the undergraduate and master’s level (including assessment, psychopathology, and psychotherapy).
• Mentor student research and supervise master’s theses in the Clinical Psychology MA program.
• Provide clinical supervision to master’s level students and participate in department and university service.
• Develop a research agenda and pursue external funding opportunities.
