Job summary

MRG Exams in Aurora, CO seeks a Clinical Psychologist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of VA processes. In-person evaluations, review of electronic records, and completion of VA forms will be required.

This role is part-time, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with an expected caseload of about four veterans per day. Location is in-person; equipment is provided. No treatment or prescribing duties are involved.

Qualifications

Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform a comprehensive assessment in-person on each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.


• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.


• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Position Details:

• Seeking female practitioners to comply with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements related to examinee privacy and gender-specific protocols for certain sensitive/intimate examinations.


• Schedule: Part-Time, Tuesdays & Fridays (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).


• Caseload: 4 Veterans per day on average.


• Location: In-person role.


• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

• Competitive pay: $43,000-46,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
