Job summary

The Columbus Organization seeks a Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment within a military healthcare setting in Millington, TN. You will work with interdisciplinary teams supporting military personnel and their families, aligning with DSM criteria and ethical standards.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, and collaboration with military leadership.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited).
• APA-accredited psychology internship completed.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in any U.S. state.
• Minimum of one year licensed Clinical Psychologist experience.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA/ARC).
• Ability to obtain required government background investigation and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, tests, and collateral information.
• Establish DSM-based diagnoses.
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, couples and group psychotherapy.
• Evaluate and treat PTSD, combat-related stress, and TBI.
• Conduct alcohol and substance use evaluations and interventions.
• Collaborate with medical staff, military leadership, and other personnel.
• Participate in routine staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and treatment plans.
