Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. seeks a Clinical Psychologist in Salisbury, MD to perform a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule: telehealth on Mondays and Tuesdays, and face-to-face exams Wednesday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The candidate must hold a psychology license in at least one US state, have a PhD or PsyD with adult-focused training, and possess a valid BLS certification. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
• PhD or PsyD in Psychology with a focus on adult populations (Clinical, Counseling, or School psychology).
• Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems; strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review pertinent mental health history and conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses during the exam via web-based forms; electronically complete documentation.
• Exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
