Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a Psychologist to perform behavioral health evaluations, cognitive and psychological assessments, and comprehensive reporting for veterans, active-duty service members, and other claimants. You will ensure medical-legal quality, maintain confidentiality, and support regulatory compliance within a clinic setting.

The role requires APA-accredited graduate training, an active license, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required.
• APA-accredited program graduate.
• Active and unrestricted state psychology license.
• Knowledge of APA ethics and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience with psychological testing and clinical assessments.
• Familiarity with VBA/VHA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Ability to produce detailed evaluative reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial examinations and behavioral health evaluations for claimants.
• Perform psychological, developmental, and cognitive assessments with test administration and interpretation.
• Review medical and behavioral health records to support evaluations and documentation.
• Prepare intake summaries, case summaries, and evaluative reports meeting standards.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation per state, federal, and organizational rules.
• Conduct claimant interviews and behavioral observations with professionalism and empathy.
• Provide education to claimants/families on evaluation processes and treatment adherence when appropriate.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
