Job summary

MRG Exams seeks Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to perform disability assessments for United States veterans as part of the VA process. In this in-person role, you review medical records, conduct comprehensive assessments, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure portal.

You will not treat or prescribe; the VA makes disability determinations. The role is Independent Contractor with travel nationwide; expects reviewing about four veterans per day and two weeks

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with PsyD or PhD in psychology.
• Experience performing disability/IME assessments preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for in-person evaluations.
• Review medical records and complete DBQs.

Description

We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform a comprehensive assessment in person on each Veteran.

You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT treat, and you will NOT prescribe medication in this position.

Licensed Psychologist will review and assess 4 Veterans per day on average.

Licensed Psychologist will be brought on as an Independent Contractor

Travel requirements:

We would need you to commit to at least two weeks of travel each month.

Travel to assigned location Sunday evening, return to home city Saturday morning.
