Job summary

The US Bureau of Prisons seeks a licensed psychologist to provide clinical services in Minnesota facilities. A doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology is required, with an active license to practice in the United States.

Experience with serious mental illness, trauma, and substance use disorders, and proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy and assessments, are preferred. You will develop treatment plans and deliver individual and group therapy as part of a comprehensive inmate

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology required.
• Licensure to practice psychology at the doctoral level in the United States is required.
• Experience with serious mental illness, trauma disorders, and substance use disorders in individual and/or group therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group cognitive behavioral psychotherapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and write corresponding reports.
• Prepare treatment recommendations and coordinates program activities within treatment services.
