Job summary

Knowesis Inc. seeks a senior Clinical Psychologist SME IV to advance PHCoE’s research translation and health promotion missions. The role supports evidence‑based clinical tools, digital resources, and behavior change initiatives across the Military Health System, with hybrid/telework eligibility.

The candidate will lead clinical pilot studies, contribute to EHR and digital tool development, and publish technical artifacts while ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology required.
• At least 13 years of full-time post-doctoral experience in clinical psychology.
• At least 3 years postdoctoral experience developing tools or training for evidence-based mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to multi-site pilot studies assessing feasibility of novel practices.
• Support development of EHR tools and digital resources for uptake of evidence-based care.
• Develop tools and messaging for self-management of mental wellbeing.
• Review clinical practice guidelines to distill key messages for clinical tools.
• Produce reports, tools, briefings, and manuscripts consistent with PHCoE missions.

Brief Description

Position: Clinical Psychologist SME IV

Location: Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE)

Work Environment: Hybrid / Telework Eligible (Routine and situational telework is authorized. Facility space restrictions may necessitate part‑time or full‑time telework.)

Clearance Required: TIER 2: Non-critical sensitive position (Must be able to obtain and maintain)

Status: Full Time

Salary Range: $135,000 - $156,000

Knowesis is seeking an SME IV – Clinical Psychologist to provide senior clinical psychology subject matter expertise across PHCoE's research translation and health promotion missions. This role supports the development of evidence-based clinical support tools, digital health resources, and behavior change initiatives that advance psychological healthcare across the Military Health System (MHS).

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

• Provide clinical expertise to multi‑site pilot studies assessing the feasibility of implementing novel evidence‑based practices.
• Support the development of Electronic Health Record tools and other digital resources that promote the uptake of evidence‑based psychological healthcare.
• Develop tools and messaging pointing military community members toward evidence‑based self‑management techniques that promote mental wellbeing.
• Review clinical practice guidelines and recommendations to distill key messages for clinical support tools.
• Produce technical artifacts (e.g., reports, tools, briefings, presentations, and manuscripts) consistent with the PHCoE mission set.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.
• At least 13 years of full‑time post‑doctoral work experience directly related to the practice of clinical psychology.
• At least 3 years of full‑time postdoctoral work developing tools or training to facilitate the delivery of evidence‑based mental health care and promote knowledge of clinical recommendations and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with military or veteran populations.
• Proven track record of publishing clinical tools or professional manuscripts.
