US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA, Schofield Barracks, HI, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics) to provide specialized psychology services to pediatric and adolescent patients within the DOD health system.
The incumbent will conduct psycho-diagnostic assessments, provide crisis intervention, and assist with developing individualized treatment plans, while maintaining licensure and professional standards.
This position is located at Schofield Barracks Desmond T Doss Health Clinic, HI.
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Degree: Successful completion of a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
Experience required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Conducting psycho-diagnostic assessments to pediatric or adolescent population; providing crisis intervention to an individual or group setting; and assisting with developing treatment plans.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
