Job summary

US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA, Schofield Barracks, HI, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics) to provide specialized psychology services to pediatric and adolescent patients within the DOD health system.

The incumbent will conduct psycho-diagnostic assessments, provide crisis intervention, and assist with developing individualized treatment plans, while maintaining licensure and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
• Active, unrestricted psychology license in a U.S. state or jurisdiction.
• At least one year of qualifying experience in the field.
• Specialized experience: pediatric/adolescent psycho-diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics)

Degree: Successful completion of a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

Experience required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized Experience:

Conducting psycho-diagnostic assessments to pediatric or adolescent population; providing crisis intervention to an individual or group setting; and assisting with developing treatment plans.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
