Job summary

US-Defense-Health-Agency seeks a Clinical Psychologist (GS-0180-14) to oversee behavioral health programs at either San Antonio, TX or Falls Church, VA. The role requires a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and an active psychology license in the U.S. A minimum of one year of specialized experience in clinical policy development and program evaluation is required.

Federal direct hire solicitation, salary negotiation may apply. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
• Active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in a U.S. state, DC, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• One year of specialized experience in managing a behavioral health program and developing clinical policies or SOPs, evaluating outcomes to drive quality improvement, and providing expert consultation to leadership.

Basic Requirement Clinical Psychologist GS-0180-14:

Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

License: A current, active, and unrestricted license as a Psychologist in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your license with your application package).

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a behavioral health program; developing clinical policies, guidelines, or standard operating procedures for psychological services; evaluating program outcomes and clinical data to drive healthcare quality improvement; and providing expert consultation to leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
