Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital seeks a psychologist to perform evaluations, assessments, psychotherapy and consultation during treatment for patients and families, with responsibility for program development and management.

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Provides psychology clinical services to patients and their families. Manages operations of the department, and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments.
• Acts as a resource and liaison to hospital staff and outside community.
• Develops and coordinates psychology training program.
• Initiates independent and collaborative research initiatives, and disseminates research findings through publications and presentations.
