Job summary

Neighborhood Service Organization in Detroit, MI, seeks a full-time Psychologist to administer and interpret psychological tests, provide therapy, crisis intervention, and develop behavior management plans across community sites including clients' homes.

Requires MA/MS in Psychology or PhD/PsyD, LP licensure, and 1+ year experience with developmental disabilities. Must have a Michigan driver’s license and auto insurance. Exempt position, reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications

• Education: MA/MS in Psychology or PhD/PsyD in Psychology required or strongly preferred.
• Required Licensure: LP license.
• Minimum Experience: administering and interpreting psychological testing and developing behavior management plans.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• +1 year clinical experience with the Developmentally Disabled population.

Responsibilities

• Assess behaviors and write behavioral plans, obtaining BTC approval.
• Provide therapy/counseling and crisis intervention in community settings.
• Coordinate cases and monitor and revise treatment plans.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests; document results clearly.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with agency policies and billing data.
