Job summary

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare seeks a Clinical Psychologist for Behavioral Health in McHenry. The role provides direct patient care in individual, group, couples, and family settings at a Monday–Friday schedule in a full-time capacity.

Experience preferred in pediatrics, eating disorders, trauma, grief, and addiction. Candidates must hold Illinois licensure as a Clinical Psychologist and have an APA-accredited doctoral program and internship.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapeutic care including individual and group psychoeducation and therapy.

• Documents timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient medical record.
• Presents patients at staff/team meetings.
• Participates in clinical treatment planning with staff/team.
• Develops and contributes to departmental policies and educational materials as required.
• Collaborates with other departments/programs and external resources as needed.

• Salary Range Minimum : $51.92
• Salary Range Maximum: $72.69
• Compensation: USD 51.92 - USD 72.69 - hourly

**This is a Full Time, salaried position at 40 hours per week located at the McHenry clinic. Schedule is Monday through Friday. Experience preferred in the following specialties: Pediatrics (4+), Eating Disorders, Trauma, Grief and Addiction.**

The Clinical Psychologist NWR position reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The position provides direct patient care through therapeutic and educational interventions in individual, group, couples, family and/or milieu settings as clinically indicated.

Required

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA approved graduate program and an internship accredited by APPIC or APA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with patient and multidisciplinary teams
