As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to ensure our platform is grounded in sound psychological principles and ethical practices.

Position Overview:
The Clinical Psychologist will be a vital member of our team, responsible for guiding the development of our AI therapist platform to ensure it delivers safe, effective, and evidence-based mental health interventions. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate psychological expertise into our technology, ensuring that our AI therapist is both effective and ethically sound.

Key Responsibilities:

• Psychological Framework Development: Develop and refine the psychological frameworks that underpin the AI therapist platform, ensuring that all therapeutic interactions are evidence-based and align with best practices in mental health care.
• Content Review & Creation: Collaborate with content creators to review and develop therapeutic content, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and appropriate for various mental health conditions.
• Ethical Oversight: Provide ethical oversight for the AI therapist’s interactions, ensuring that the platform respects user privacy, autonomy, and confidentiality, and that it avoids potential harm.
• User Experience Consultation: Work with UX/UI designers to ensure that the user experience is supportive, empathetic, and conducive to mental well-being.
• Collaboration with AI/ML Teams: Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to inform the development of algorithms and models that align with psychological theories and ethical considerations.
• Research & Validation: Conduct and oversee research studies to validate the effectiveness of the AI therapist, including the design and implementation of clinical trials and user studies.
• User Feedback Analysis: Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to continuously improve the therapeutic effectiveness and user satisfaction of the platform.
• Training & Education: Provide training and education to team members on psychological principles, mental health best practices, and ethical considerations in AI-driven therapy.
• Clinical Expertise Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert in clinical psychology, providing insights and guidance on a wide range of mental health topics.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, with a strong background in evidence-based therapy practices such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness-based approaches. Experience in digital mental health or teletherapy is a plus.
• Educational Background: A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution. Additional certifications or specializations in areas such as AI ethics or digital health are advantageous.
• Ethical Standards: Deep understanding of psychological ethics, particularly in the context of digital health and AI, with a commitment to ensuring ethical practices within the platform.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex psychological concepts to non-experts and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Research Skills: Experience in conducting and analyzing clinical research, including the design and execution of studies related to mental health interventions.
• User-Centric Approach: Strong empathy and a user-centric approach to mental health care, with a focus on creating solutions that truly benefit users.
