Applicant must obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements. Failure to do so may result in adverse actions, up to removal from federal service.
Compliance with the IHS Employee Immunization Policy for vaccine‑preventable diseases is required. Vaccine exemption requests are available as outlined in the policy and facility guidance.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Selective Service Registration is required for males born after December 31, 1959. The position is covered by Public Law 101‑630 and requires no criminal convictions related to certain crimes.
On‑call hours or standby duty may be required. The position may involve rotating shifts: days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
