Damar is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated healthcare team at our East campus in Richmond, Indiana! The Clinical Psychologist works with both children and adults, completing intake and diagnostic appointments, consultations, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. Assessments may include cognitive, academic/achievement, social-emotional, behavioral, neuropsychological, autism, and other diagnostic assessments and symptom screeners, as clinically appropriate. The Clinical Psychologist provides individuals served and caregivers with comprehensive diagnostic reports, recommendations, and guidance to support ongoing care and treatment planning.

The essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information. The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors. Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
